April is Alcohol Awareness Month

The sun is shining into the early evening and there are more and more opportunities for socializing after work. For some, these opportunities can turn into problem drinking.
Staggeringly, 18 million Americans have alcohol problems and five to six million have drug issues.  The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence provides education, information and help to those who have drug and substance abuse problems. For more information about alcohol and drug abuse, visit NCADD .

In addition, the Selfhelpworks course LivingSmart is a free on-line class for all benefits eligible faculty and staff to change their relationship with alcohol.
