Can you believe it! It's already April and this ain't no joke ! April reminds us that the school year is quickly coming to an end and that we have much to do to prepare for the many upcoming events. Special People Day, Senior Farewell Mass and Senior Awards are just a few to mention. Speaking of seniors, they have been busy completing applications for scholarships, visiting colleges and making daily trips to the mail box, checking for college acceptance letters.  Many have already received acceptance letters are are ecstatic over the good news. For the first time in seven years, we had two students accepted to Stanford. This good news provides incentive for our Juniors as they prepare to take a first ACT test, April 8th, in their efforts to be fully prepared to meet college admission requirements.  Students completed the registration process for next year's classes and counselors have been following up with them regarding their course selections. We will meet with our incoming freshmen students and parents on Saturday, April 16th, to complete their Course registration for the upcoming school year. Registration for Summer School is also in 'full swing' and students needing to remediate classes are encouraged to register. If you have questions regarding which classes your student may need or want to take, contact your student's counselor.
Yes, to quote Mark Twain, "The first of April is the day we remember what we are the other 364 days of the year." I might add, Busy and Blessed!
Please contact me if you have any questions.
