Sisterhood's Women's  Tu BiSh'vat Seder
Sunday, January 24, 6:00 pm

Tu BiSh'vat is the holiday that marks the beginning of a "New Year for Trees."  This is the season in which the earliest-blooming trees in the Land of Israel emerge from their winter sleep and begin a new fruit-bearing cycle.   We will drink the fruit of the vine and nourish our bodies with fruits and nuts symbolizing strength, creation, rebirth, and our spiritual and emotional ties with the Earth.

A light vegetarian supper will be served at Sharon Sobel's home: 8 Old Farm Road  in Wilton . Cost is $18.00 for Sisterhood members, $23.00 for guests.  RSVP using the form here. Questions to: [email protected]   by January 19th.

Don't Forget the Turnover Shop!

Temple B'nai Chaim receives 60% of the proceeds from your donations to the Wilton Turnover Shop, a non-profit thrift shop located in the Village Market building in Wilton Center.

The Turnover shop is run entirely by volunteers and benefits the Wilton schools' PTA and local nursing and home care. If you are cleaning out your closets, the shop will accept seasonal clothing, house wares, small furniture and collectibles. For further information, please email [email protected].
