April 2016
1-866-936-GIVE (4483)

Spring has arrived in North America and with it comes the buzz around re-birth, cleaning and starting anew.  As part of this, it only makes sense that a financial review happens now as we have just made our annual contributions to our retirement plans and filed our taxes.

As part of this financial review, consider taking stock of your values and how they align with your social vision.  If we are not putting our social values in the centre of our financial planning we might see that our goals and objectives are not readily achieved.  We want to have our social capital plan established so that when we are ready, it can be implemented immediately.  To help you with this, we have posted a number of resources for you and your advisor to use at your next planning meeting.  Please share back with us how you have used these tools.

For our own Spring Cleaning, we would like to get some feedback from you.  If you can please take a moment to complete the survey (link just below this letter), we will be using this information to develop our workshops, seminars and business services.

Happy Spring!

Gena Rotstein
We want to hear from you.   Please provides us with feedback on our products and services.  As a thank you, a $100 donation will be made to a charity of your choice for a name drawn at random from the completed surveys.

Dexterity & Place2Give Update
In the fall of 2012,  Place2Give Foundation received its Canadian charitable status and in 2015
we received our US charitable status. This was an interesting journey to go down, for a long
time (since starting Dexterity in 2002) I was trying to prove that we could drive the social change we wanted to see without having to create a bifurcated entity a forprofit to hold the IP and equity and a charity to process the donations. The market told me otherwise.
