At GroupLink, our LifeGroup launch event, you'll be able to meet other people interested in getting in a LifeGroup, talk to those already in one, and find a group that fits you in person. 2. SOUPer Bowl Pantry Food Drive
Help The Pantry "tackle" hunger, with canned soup donations for the SOUPer Bowl Pantry Food Drive.

There's no better way to fight the chill of winter weather than by warming up with a hot bowl of soup. The "SOUPer Bowl" soup drive will run until the NFL's Super Bowl, on Sunday, February 7.

Join the family ministries team and other church members for a visit to Annandale Village in Suwanee. We'll meet at the church at 9:15am and caravan to Annandale where we will spend time with residents playing games and doing activities together to help them celebrate an early Valentine's Day! 5. Men's Retreat

Coffeehouse Fundraiser for Guatemala

Girlology with Dr. Angela Walker

Sunday, January 31 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
 

In this mom-daughter program, we'll cover growth & development, bras & bra shopping, hygiene & hair management, nutrition, menstruation, feminine care products, moods & emotions, and respect for self & others. This program is offered for 4th - 6th grade girls and their moms or mom-substitutes. Registration includes a copy of Girlology's book There's Something New About You by Melisa Holmes, MD and Trish Hutchison, MD.

Parent University
Wednesday, January 27 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm 

The student ministry staff would like to invite all parents to join us for our next Parent University! This event will continue our communication series - "How to Have Difficult Conversations with Your Teen." Beverly Neville will guide the evening based on the book "How to Have That Difficult Conversation You Have Been Avoiding" by Drs. Cloud and Townsend. D-Now Weekend for 7th-12th Graders
March 4 - March 6

All 7th-12th graders should mark their calendars for March 4th & 5th. We'll meet at HMUMC at 5pm on Friday, March 4. We'll be attending the Disciple Now retreat hosted at Crosspointe church. We'll be staying in host homes on Friday night and returning to D-Now on Saturday morning. Cost includes transportation, meals (Friday dinner and 3 meals on Saturday), a t-shirt and tons of fun with HMStudentMin friends. 2016 Confirmation Retreat
March 11 - 13, 2016

Calling all participants of the 2015-16 confirmation class! Join us as we venture to Lake Junaluska Retreat and Conference Center. We'll meet on Friday at 4:15pm and spend the weekend learning about the Christian faith. Duffy Robbins will be our speaker for the weekend. Cost includes room, transportation, and meals for the weekend. Plan to eat before dropoff on Friday or bring a sack lunch.
