Recycle Cartons

Print and hang this
carton recycling flyer around your school. Share these facts during announcements and in newsletters:
  • Cartons are mainly made of paper, which comes from trees, a renewable resource.
  • When recycled, cartons are made into new paper products.
  • A variety of products are packaged in recyclable cartons, including milk, juice, ice cream, soup, milk substitutes, and egg substitutes.
  • In addition to paper, cartons have layers of polyethylene, and sometimes aluminum; therefore they are separated from other paper products at the recycling center to be recycled differently.

To receive free technical assistance, indoor recycling containers, and signage to start or improve your school recycling program, email Cher Mohring or call 946-7737.

School reuse posters will give students and parents ideas on how to reuse instead of using disposable products.  Add this link to your school e-newsletter or request some 18" X 24" posters to hang up at school.

To request a classroom set or whole school supply of the above, email Cher Mohring or call 513-946-7737.
