National Animal Cruelty Investigations School | Professional Investigator Training
Law Enforcement Training Academy
Macomb County Animal Control will be hosting the University of Missouri's   National Animal Cruelty Investigations School  May 2-6, 2016.  This is for the Professional Investigator level and is the first time that Michigan is hosting a national training.

Instrumental in organizing the training is Macomb County's Director / Chief Animal Control Officer Jeff Randazzo, recent recipient of MPFA's Innovation and Best Practices Award

According to Randazzo,  " Many animal control departments struggle to take part in the amazing training that is offered around the country due to the financial constraints associated with out of state travel so this is a great opportunity to send your officers locally to learn the cutting-edge techniques in the animal control industry."

The training will be held at  Emergency Services Training Center,  21901 Durham Rd., Clinton Township, MI.
