Dear Friends~
We have entered the Easter Season. What does Easter mean to you? How does it change your life? Does it mean something more than an opportunity for a new spring outfit, a family dinner, and an excuse to eat jelly beans, chocolate Easter bunnies and colorful Easter Peeps?
On Easter Sunday we were challenged to think and to live "outside the box." Have you taken time during this first week of Easter to consider what this looks like for you? With one swift glance inside the empty tomb, the women's agenda for the day...the agenda for their lifetime and beyond, was instantly changed. This was not a time for mourning. This was not an ending. This was the beginning of a whole new world!
- A world in which resurrection is a reality.
- A world in which death has been destroyed.
- A world in which Jesus lives--forever!
On Sunday we will hear Jesus ask Peter three times: Do you love me? And three times Peter will respond: Yes Lord, I love you. In reply, Jesus says to Peter: Feed my sheep." The response to loving Jesus is action- a changed perspective on life. This week we have an opportunity to be Easter people - to live and love and serve outside the box. On Friday and Saturday Hosanna will be hosting the Lakes Area Feed My Starving Children MobilePack.

for the FMSC MobilePack on Saturday morning.

Yogadevotion, now in its 11
th year in Forest Lake, will begin a new 6-week session on Saturday, April 16th at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9300 Scandia Trail North, Forest Lake.
Yogadevotion promotes strength, flexibility and peace in body, mind and spirit through weekly Saturday morning devotional sessions. Carrin Mahmood, certified and experienced Yogadevotional instructor, leads the hour long sessions.
Women and men of all ages are invited to participate and enjoy this meditation time, while enjoying the benefits of yoga. No previous experience needed, basic yoga will be taught.
The 6-week session will run through Saturday, May 21st
Cost is $45 and classes will be held in the Lakeside Room (upper level) at Hosanna, 9-10 am. To register, contact Kathy Okeson,

Gail Gates will give a short presentation about
"Mom wisdom" followed by a creative time
where you will each dye/paint an 8"x72" Habotai silk scarf to keep. It's a chance to connect with your creativity, share your thoughts on growing older
and wiser, and have precious mom/daughter time.
Fee: $35 per person includes 2 1/2 hour playshop, materials, pizza and beverages. If you prefer you may choose a larger 14"x72" scarf option for $10 more.
