Creating a Culture of Generosity
Associate for Reconciliation & Ministry Group Coach
"Is your congregation's approach to stewardship stuck in a rut?"
"Do you long for your church's members to enjoy the spiritual rewards of a generous life?"
|
|
These are some of the questions posed by Orlanda Carr, Foundation Ministry Relations Officer for the Presbyterian Foundation. If you answered "yes" to either of them, please plan to join Orlanda as he presents a stewardship seminar at Knox Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 30 from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Knox has generously invited any congregation within the Presbytery of Baltimore to join them for this event.
The Presbyterian Foundation and the Board of Pensions have collaborated to create this interactive seminar designed
to help you move your church from a traditional stewardship campaign to building a year-round spiritually-based culture of generosity.
You will walk away from this seminar with ideas on organizing your generosity/ stewardship leadership group, communicating with the different generations that exist in your congregation, integrating all aspects of your church into the life of generosity, and teaching the spirituality of generosity. Be prepared to evaluate your current program, and walk away with a new excitement and energy about generosity for the future of your church.
Take advantage of this opportunity to participate by attending or sending a representative from your congregation! The cost of the seminar is $10 and Knox is providing a continental breakfast. There is no charge for members of the In The Loop Ministry Group.
Register your church's stewardship chair, clerk or treasurer now for this one-time event by clicking
Culture of Generosity.
