Another year drifts past ! I hate to repeat myself year after year but... what a year it's been. Glad to see 2015 drift off as we prepare to welcome 201-SIX.
Some very sad news
Today we mourn the passing of
Manfred Rosch. Fred sadly passed away over night.
Many in the Australian refuelling industry would know Fred.
Fred started his career in the 60's working for Shell Aviation in Sydney as a aircraft refueller.
By the late 70's Fred had worked his way up to become the Melbourne ITP Superintendent and kept that role up until approximately 1993.
Fred then moved over to assist and work with Kris & Steve Graf in Stenaust Melbourne.
Later Fred came over to C&L where he continued to assist.
Fred retired in his early 70's
Fred will be sadly missed by his many good friends and colleagues.

(The not so) Internal CANDL News
Peter Abela has jumped from running the ITP workshop over to join the sales team.
The transition has been slower than we'd liked but we are just about there as
Rowan Easby takes all the ITP workshop reins. Both Rowan and Peter have been with C&L for many years and equally have a great deal of experience.
Running the ITP workshop can be and is a tough GIG at times with
pressure from all sides of the fence to keep the fleet running and at
the same time as making sure all of QC is done when it should be.
The fleet @ Sydney combined is
over 50 refuelling vehicles
and various other pieces of refuelling equipment scattered about.
We welcome two new starters to the CANDL fold being Lauri and Jamie. " You can check-out any time you like, but you can never leave "
Interesting fact #1 HOSE
Over 50 refuelling vehicles equates to around 2000m of hose
and about 180 hose pressure tests that are carried out every six months.
