Introducing Wisconsin On Tap
We're excited to introduce Wisconsin On Tap. While this illustrated series about risky drinking is being launched on April Fool's Day, the negative consequences of risky drinking are no joke.

Sketches promote the stop drinking [SO MUCH] wisconsin campaign in a way that captures attention and sparks meaningful dialog. Each sketch has a theme addressing a specific issue - many of which are associated with certain annual events and special occasions.

Throughout the year, we'll reveal new sketches, so visit our website, look for future eblasts, like IMPACT on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

From President & CEO, Michael Davis
We know that alcohol is part of everyday life, from church festivals, to tailgating, to family gatherings.

Adults often engage in risky drinking without realizing it, and fail to make the connection to injuries, arguments, personal safety and long-term health problems.

Today I'm asking you to join IMPACT in changing the risky drinking culture by making a donation of any amount to support

stop drinking [SO MUCH] wisconsin

Your gift will:
  • Help people understand how much they consume and if they are putting themselves at risk; and,
  • Support free assistance that helps people reduce alcohol consumption; and,
  • Change lives for good - now - and for future generations.

If you have questions about stop drinking [SO MUCH] wisconsin, please feel free to contact me at [email protected].

Thanks to United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County and Green Bay Packers Foundation for their support; and
special thanks to Brewers Community Foundation for supporting the campaign in its first year.

Risky drinking in southeastern Wisconsin crosses all cultures and ethnicities. To truly change the culture, all populations need the awareness stop drinking [SO MUCH] wisconsin brings to this critical issue.

Going beyond these guidelines* can put you at risk. But even within these guidelines, some people can have problems if they:

  • drink too quickly
  • have health problems
  • are older.

In fact, women and men over 65 are generally advised to have no more than 3 drinks on any day, not to exceed 7 per week.

Based on how alcohol affects you, you may need to drink less or not at all.

It's safest to avoid alcohol altogether if you are:

  • under the age of 21
  • pregnant or trying to become pregnant
  • planning to drive a vehicle or operate machinery
  • taking medications that interact with alcohol
  • managing a medical condition that can be made worse by drinking.
