Winter Fundays at Marina Park!

Join us for the 4th annual Winter Fundays program at Prince Arthur's Landing! Every Sunday embrace winter by taking part in a different fun outdoor activity for FREE. 

New for 2015-16: after you've enjoyed the Winter Funday activity outside, warm up with a creative activity inside the Baggage Building Arts Centre!

Winter Fundays hours are 2:00 - 4:00 pm unless otherwise noted. Schedule is subject to change in situations of extreme weather.

Canada's ultimate hockey festival is coming to Marina Park! Join us Saturday, Jan. 2, and Sunday, Jan. 3, for free activities, live music, a chance to meet NHL alumni and much more. The festival caps off with the broadcast of the Ottawa Senators vs. Chicago Blackhawks game, hosted by Ron MacLean LIVE from the Sportsnet Mobile Studio at Marina Park - don't miss it!
January 17 - FIS World Snow Day

World Snow Day is a celebration of all things snow around the world simultaneously. In short, World Snow Day is the biggest day on snow all year! 
 
The City of Thunder Bay is partnering with  Mount Baldy and community organizations to offer a variety of fun snow activities for all ages. Visit Mount Baldy on January 17th for a special celebration - and come down to Marina Park from 2-4pm to play snow games and learn about snow safety with  Lakehead Search & Rescue.

A Curious Collection of Celtic Delights
Award-winning Canadian fiddler Pierre Schryer, a much-loved, charismatic performer, is joined by two remarkable Celtic musicians from Minneapolis. Together they will present a memorable evening of 17th, 18th & 19th-century songs and dances from Ireland and Scotland from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Come and enjoy a feast of traditional tunes, laments, jigs and reels,
from reflective, soulful or sweet to jaunty, lively and exciting!
