Dr. Cynthia "Cindy" M. Kiernan

The new Dean of the Price School of Education Dr. Cynthia "Cindy" M. Kiernan has taught at Reinhardt for five years. She came to Reinhardt after a successful career as an elementary school teacher and curriculum specialist in the Fulton County Public School System. She has a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from Berry College, a Master of Arts in middle grades education from Oglethorpe University and an Ed.D. in curriculum development from Nova Southeastern University
NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Bronze Institution

Reinhardt University has been named a 2014-2015 Champions of Character Five-Star Bronze Institution by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, NAIA.

The designation is given to schools who reach a specific threshold on the NAIA Champions of Character scorecard, which includes the 'Live 5' values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership.

Cronic Named AFCA Region Coach of the Year

Reinhardt's men's and women's basketball teams are preparing to wrap up the 2015 portion of their schedules and head into the rest of Appalachian Athletic Conference play in 2016.
Reinhardt's Drew Cronic has been honored as NAIA Region 1 Coach of the Year by the American Football Coaches Association as the AFCA announced its Regional Coach of the Year winners across all divisions recognized by the organization.

In his first year as head coach and third year overall with the program, Cronic led the Eagles to the best record in program history at 9-2. The Eagles reached a ranking as high as No. 7 in the NAIA Top 25 this season, also the best in program history.

Allie Hale Named NAIA Honorable Mention All-American

  Allie Hale  of Reinhardt's women's soccer team has been named an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American by the NAIA's All-American Committee. The award was announced by the national office in Kansas City, Mo., Tuesday afternoon.

Hale's honor marks the third year in a row that an RU women's soccer player has received All-American status from the NAIA. Krista Barikos earned the award following the 2013 season, while  Stephanie Goins  took home the honor after the 2014 campaign.

Williams Earns NAIA Honorable Mention All-America Status

Reinhardt's  Jordan Williams  has been named an NAIA men's soccer Honorable Mention All-American by the NAIA's All-America committee. In receiving the honor, Williams becomes the first RU men's soccer player to earn All-American status from the NAIA.

The Appalachian Athletic Conference's Freshman of the Year in 2014 and Player of the Year in 2015, Williams had a remarkable sophomore campaign on the pitch for RU.
