UTPB Early College High School Puts Focus on Higher Education
The new high school at the University of Texas Permian Basin's (UTPB) campus recently opened up its doors to the public earlier this year, and held its ribbon cutting event earlier this month.

According to UTPB website, the Early College High Schools (ECHS) provide at risk students with the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and sixty college credit hours. These schools also provide dual credit, at no cost to the students, an increase in college readiness, and help to reduce barriers to college access.
