Activity of the Month

WooTown WakeFest Watersports Competition













Wootown Wakefest is an Amateur to Pro level contest of Wakeboarding, Wakeskating, and Wakesurfing. 

July 15th is Wakeboarding day! Practice, free ride, or experience it for the first time for only $25. Demo gear and boats available. 

July 16th is a full on competition! Twenty vendors, raffles, cornhole tournaments, and giveaways. Live music and various food trucks will be on site. 

July 17th will be surfing fun for all for only $25! Whether you know how to surf or it's your first time, you'll have a blast. Demo gear and boats will be available again. This day will be one of five US regional qualifying events for Junior Men's Pro-riders. 

Learn or practice riding, enjoy the perfect vantage point for spectating, and watch some pro talent!

Woo Challenge
Join in the 4+ mile urban obstacle course through the streets and parks of Worcester! Climb walls, crawl through tunnels, and scale through the hills of Institute Park while running through downtown Worcester. Featuring 10+ exciting obstacles and a kids obstacle course right on the Worcester Common. Celebrate your victory at the festival on the Common after crossing the finish line! Cost: $10-45.

Worcester County Food Bank Tour
Worcester County Food Bank (WCFB) invites you to take a tour of their facility! Learn about hunger in Worcester County, what WCFB is doing to help our neighbors struggling with hunger, and see how the facility works. Tours will take place once a month on the 1st Thursday of the month, alternating monthly between a 3:00 PM tour and a 6:00 PM tour. Tours last between 35-60 minutes.

Help care for the sanctuary and enjoy a few hours of fresh air, fun and fulfillment. Put up signs and markers, look for wildlife tracks, pick up branches, fill bird feeders, tend the gardens, and distribute program information. Ability to work without supervision required; carpentry skills welcome; nature lovers appreciated.
