Last Weekend Until Christmas!

Now is the time for us to all take a moment and enjoy the season. Getting together with friends and family is so treasured. Why we focus on this time of the year being more important than any other time to be with those we love and enjoy has always given me pause. I know it is a time to welcome into our hearts, the birth of Jesus. The greatest gift we could have ever received. I also feel it has to do with the warmth of friendship, the love we share easily during this time, and the joy we feel when we watch small children as they wonder at the lights and sounds and smells of the season. 

I wanted to take this time to wish all of you a Joyous Christmas Holiday Season. From All of Us at Topaz Quilting & Embroidery, May The Magic & Wonder of the season be with you all year!

What are you doing Friday Night?

Well, if you have time to browse for those last minute gifts, you may want to take a look at the craft fair that will be held at the Wildflower Village. Patagonia employees are showing off their wonderful crafty gifts and have opened it up to the public. Friday, December 18th from 3:30pm to 6:00pm you can browse the 20 crafters' handmade gifts while enjoying live music. There is no admission to get in. Look for the balloons at the corner of 4th and McCarrian in Reno. The Wildflower Village Link is Here. You will be able to find directions and more information about other services and events they host. So please stop by and see what wonderful gifts you can find in time for Christmas.

Our store will be closed on Friday, December 18th so we can enjoy the event & fun.

Thank you to all who have reserved your spots. We look forward to seeing you this Saturday. On Saturday, December 19th, we will have an "Open Sew" to get those projects finished. However, even if you didn't get a chance to reserve your spot to bring in your machine, we'll still be available to answer questions, make last minute sales, and share in the holiday cheer. 

The shop will be opening at 10:00 am Saturday and we'll be there until 4:00 pm or until you're done, which ever is later.
Digitizing Classes . . .


Digitizing on Floriani's Total Control-U may seem hard and difficult. Have you just given up on even trying to figure it out? Well, back by popular demand, I will be offering monthly classes on how to use your software. Not only will we be going over Floriani's Total Control-U, we will also be going over their My Decorative Quilter II software as well. I am still working up the class dates and times, but I thought I'd start to get you all thinking of pulling out your laptops and dusting off those mice in preparation for classes in 2016. Each month, I will hold the same class a few times in the month so we can get everyone in who wants to attend. I hope to have samples and times ready by the next news letter.

I am not an authorized Floriani Dealer and these classes are not part of the Floriani Educator Program.
