"Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work
within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think."

Gloria Dei has the Holy Spirit as a regular visitor and he fills my heart to capacity - so much so I at times cannot contain myself. This joy and counsel of this experience carries over into my everyday life.

Renovation Update

The Leadership Team and Architect Jack Christensen have the final plans for the Luther Hall Renovation Project. The Plans have been submitted to the City for review and comments, a process which will take approximately 8 weeks. Many thanks to Wayne Hokanson and Architect Jack Christensen for their conversations with people at the City, working to make the process as smooth and efficient as  possible.

Ready to Roll!  Almost...

The bathrooms in the sanctuary are almost done. As of the week of September 15th plumbers, painters and tilers have been finishing their tasks. Please check the weekly bulletin for more recent updates.

Volunteers N eeded
As we get closer to work on the renovation there are many small projects which will make the process easier for all.
We will be looking for people to help move and box items for storage, give away and disposal. We will especially need people with trucks to haul many of the larger items.
If you are more of a supervisor, we need people to coordinate our efforts and head up  committees so tasks run smoothly.
We also need "Prayer Warriors" to continually lift up Gloria Dei, the Leaders and the renovation process in prayer.
If you are interested in volunteering in any role Send Us An Email with days of the week you are available and how you would like to help.

In This Issue

"Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." (2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NIV)

As of 9/13/15:

Total Forward in Faith funds received =
$111,000

Total Commitments = $270,000
