Leadership Introduction
From Robert Jacobo, Vice-President

Robert Jacobo
Robert Jacobo
Community Members, fall is here! I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful summer. Looking ahead we begin a season of giving. Throughout the season many will take part in placing decorations, attending community functions, and spending time with their families. Many beautiful things can happen especially though United Way, so let me be among the first to urge you to Give, Volunteer, or Donate to United Way this season.

Imagine you are a bank, "The Bank of You." Each and every day you start with a balance available to you of $86,400.00 and every night that balance is expended to Zero. You can't stop it, can't slow it down you can only tell it where to go. How would you spend it? Well I have good news for you, that bank exists and is available to you each and every day. There are 86,400 seconds in a day and I, as the recently appointed Vice-Chair of River Cities United Way, have found that donating my time has allowed me to not only help, but to gain life changing experiences and meet remarkable people who do remarkable things.

Giving isn't limited by the amount of time you volunteer or by the amount of money you donate. Every little bit counts. The measurement of what you give is measured by the way it makes you feel and the joy it brings to your heart. River Cities United Way wants to be your partner this season as we bring joy and happiness throughout our regional area.

Thank you.

Robert - The staff and volunteers of River Cities United Way are grateful for your service to our community. Thank You!

Kingman Kickoff Recap
While Thursday September 10th's game ended in a score of 28-21, Patriots... It was the Kingman Kickoff participants who were the real winners!  Several recognition certificates were presented and great drawing prizes were donated and won.

Kingman Day of Caring 2015

River Cities United Way, the CARE /Sandbox Committee and the Clean City Commission's Day of Caring/Community Clean Up was a huge success!

Thank you to so many citizens, businesses and organizations that volunteered. There were over 425 individuals that participated, which exceeds last year's numbers.

If you had the opportunity to drive around our city on Saturday, you certainly had reason to smile and to be grateful for those service minded individuals that gave their time early on a Saturday morning to make Kingman clean. May I just say, "It humbled me".

River Cities wishes to thank Coca Cola and National Bank of Arizona for donating water and to True Value for supplying the ice. At the Stockton Hill project, D&L Poole & Sons loaned their equipment and donated the landscape rock, Home Depot donated supplies and also to Behr Paint. Last, thank you to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for providing the great breakfasts.

This truly demonstrates that citizens in Kingman do Care!

Thank You!
