Recap:
Nathan Hale Foundation
Donation Event
The entire company is proud to have been involved with the generator donation event to the Nathan Hale Foundation on Saturday August 15, 2015 recognizing and honoring our Veterans.
An anonymous donor, a spouse of a Vietnam veteran, donated her 20 RESA Kohler generator to the foundation. Debbie Matthews, owner of NE Generator and Scott Matthews, General Manager of NE Generator, and a Gulf War veteran, handled the expenses to move the generator itself and all materials to install the generator at the Nathan Hale Veteran Outreach Center at 763 State Road Plymouth, MA, which is part of the famous Nathan Hale Foundation. The team (Scott Shanahan, Morgan Walker, Tom Shanahan, Brendan Kelly, and Scott Matthews) at New England Generator donated their time to install the generator. New England Generator's plumbing subcontractor, Gary Young of Gary Young Plumbing & Heating, also donated his time and materials to perform the gas connection. We estimate the total donation made by all parties involved to be over $10,000.
The Nathan Hale Veteran's Outreach Center is a non-profit organization that is designed to serve the day to day needs of our local veterans. With this newly installed generator the grocery outlet these veterans rely on will not spoil during a power outage and they will have a warm place to go during these upcoming winter months.
