Arizona Commission on the Arts Launches Two New Initiatives
Last week the Arts Commission announced two new initiatives to serve Arizona's arts sector:
AZ Creative Aging, generously supported by
Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust, is a comprehensive three-year initiative that will provide training to teaching artists, support the development of high-quality arts programs for older adults, and embed creative aging knowledge and best practices in the community.

AZ ArtWorker, funded by the
Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation, is a new artist-to-artist professional development program that creates opportunities for Arizona artists to learn from national and international artists who are at the frontlines of contemporary art and community practice.
