Calm Runaway Emotions with One Word...
Provided by our Kim Watt, Clinical Counsellor

"Sad." "Furious." "Disrespected."
Whatever your emotion may be, you will feel immediate relief by just putting your feeling into words, whether in your mind or out loud. The formal name for this process is "affect labeling," which involves attaching a label to the messy combination of physical and mental upset that you're experiencing - and in the process, "cooling down" your feelings and managing them more effectively.

*Kim Offers free 15 minute consultations. Please call 604-535-7705 to book*

Working with the Men's National Soccer Team
Did you know that Dr. Kusch is a Team Chiropractor for the Canadian Men's National Soccer Team?

After a busy summer with the team, we wanted to know what it's like for Dr. Kusch to work and travel with them as well as his philosophies for treating athletes. Here's what we learned...

Q.What's your role with the Canadian Men's National Soccer Team and how did you get involved?

A.    I am the team's chiropractor and provide injury prevention, treatment and rehab.  Shortly after receiving my doctorate in chiropractic I had a coffee with the coach at the time, Frank Yallop, who I know as a friend.  He had said that if I were interested in working with the team he'd see if there was an opportunity.   Read more here...
