As many of you know, Rev. von Courter's mother, Hazel, has been diagnosed with lung cancer. She is currently being evaluated for a surgery this month. Rev. von Courter is available via phone and email and will be in the pulpit this month but has postponed Spirit Circle meetings. She thanks everyone for their continued good thoughts and prayers and said Hazel has enjoyed the cards and communications. Anyone needing to be in touch with Rev. von Courter should not hesitate to do so but matters that can wait until after the holidays will receive more thorough attention at that time! She will be in evenings this week for Red Bow preparation and she and Gini are looking forward to the Red Bow Fair on Saturday!

Thank you to every one who helped to make the Red Bow Fair such a success!  There were just so many elves busily working to make our Fair happen.....too many to mention by name.  So thank you to those who made baskets, donated to the baskets including one of the Stetson Gallery artists, designed and made wreaths and arrangements, donated and tended the gift table, to those who knitted and knitted and quilted, to those who took charge of our finances whether it was cash, charge or debt,  to the bakers and cooks,  to the donors and elves in the White Elephant Room, to those who put smiles on the young faces of our children through face painting and ornament making, the doll house builders, painters, decorators and to the four families who furnished the rooms of our yet to be auctioned dollhouse, the Raffle ticket makers, sellers and buyers,  for the opportunity to buy electronics and cards, to those who made early morning coffee, hot chocolate and bagels possible,  the cooks for wonderful food  at the Red Bow Cafe, to those who publicized our Fair through our newsletter, papers, social media, posters and word of mouth, to those who made possible such wonderful choices in the book stall, to those who made available olive oil and 300 anniversary items, to those who set up, cleaned up, to the family members who tended the home fires allowing family members to be at the church, to anyone who did any task,  and to everyone who attended the Fair and shopped, shopped, shopped!  What a fabulous day it was!

We will be ordering Red Poinsettias and White Cyclamen this year for display on Christmas Eve.  If you wish to order, the cost this year is $20 per plant.  Please download the order form and fill out the information. Return the form with a check before 1 pm on December 20th.
