Reminders from National

Certification Reinstatement Program
Has your NKBA Certification lapsed since 2013? If your NKBA Certification has lapsed no later than 2013, there is good news! The Certification Policies and Procedures provide a process in which you can get your NKBA Certification reinstated with a membership in good standing. The general requirements include providing the NKBA with your CEU compliance information for the last CEU cycle, payment of current and prior years' certification fees and membership dues. The membership reinstatement fee is waived for this program.  This program is in effect beginning June 1, 2015 and will end on December 31, 2015 at 5:00pm ET.

CEU Hours Requirement After June 30, 2014 Changed from 10 CEUs to 12 CEUs
Beginning with the July 1, 2014- June 30, 2016 CEU cycle, NKBA certified members will be required to attain 12 CEU hours per 2-year cycle. The NKBA Board of Directors approved the increase to 12 CEU hours per 2-year cycle from the current 10 CEU hours, following the recommendation by the Certification Task Force. By maintaining demanding CEU program requirements, we can maintain the NKBA CEU program as the gold standard in continuing education in the industry, and protect the integrity of NKBA certifications.
