The Eagles Soar over the Raiders at Homecoming 2015 for a 42-24 win!
Niagel Curtis rushed for a program-record five touchdowns as No. 8 Reinhardt defeated No. 1 Lindsey Wilson.

Niagel Curtis  rushed for a program-record five touchdowns as No. 8 Reinhardt defeated No. 1 Lindsey Wilson in a Mid-South Conference West Division contest big enough for NAIA Game of the Week status, 42-24, at Ken White Field Saturday.

"Niagel worked really hard over the summer," said RU head coach Drew Cronic. "He and [teammate] Nate Holton lived together during the summer, and they really pushed themselves to be in better shape physically. I'm really proud of how hard he's worked, and it's showed this season.

Curtis ran for a game-high 129 yards as the Eagles rushed the ball 71 times for 327 yards as a team. L.J. Stegall and Deonte Dennis ran for 68 and 57 yards, respectively, as Reinhardt's top three rushers in the game combined to average 5.6 yards per carry in the contest.

Reinhardt never trailed in the gameas the Eagles scored on their opening drive when Curtis plowed in from a yard out. The score would soon be 14-0 as Tyler Bradley caught a quick screen from Ryan Thompson and tip-toed down the sideline for a 46-yard touchdown completion.

"I think we were able to fool them a little bit with some formation stuff on our first couple of possessions," said coach Cronic. "They made some adjustments, but those early touchdowns were big for us."

Reinhardt names 'JoEllen Bell Wilson '61 Office of Advancement';  Celebrates scholarship named in her honor

Reinhardt University has named its Advancement Office in honor of longtime administrator and Canton resident, JoEllen Wilson. The JoEllen Bell Wilson '61 Office of Advancement is located in the University's new Welcome Center in Waleska, Ga.

Earlier this year, Reinhardt's Board Chair, William "Billy" G. Hasty Jr. '67, announced that the Trustees had approved naming the Office of Advancement in honor of Wilson who retired on June 30, 2015, after 33 years of service to Reinhardt.

"The JoEllen Bell Wilson Office of Advancement is a wonderful recognition of the impact JoEllen made on her alma mater. Over her long, distinguished career with Reinhardt, she played a significant role in the University's most successful alumni and fund raising activities. We are privileged to have on our campus a physical reminder of her friendship and loyalty," said Mallard.
