"Conquering the Summer Slide: A Toolkit for Achievement"
The OCPS Parent Academy is an educational resource for all families, schools and community members. It was established to promote student success, parent growth and to provide vital educational opportunities to strengthen the connections between families, schools and the community.
May 14th Parent Academy Breakout Sessions will include:

- Early Childhood: Essentials Your Child Needs to Engage in Summer Learning
- Summer Access for ESE Students
- Award Winning Reading for Summer Success

- Findng a Career - Not Another Job
- Family Fun with PTA
- Healthcare Breakdown
Children's/Teens Academy ( ages 4 - 18) Breakout Sessions will include:
(Sessions will depend on age)
- Magical Storytelling
- Face Painting
- Creative Art
- Medical Simulation Lab: Sutures, Extractions, and Emergency Medicine
- Get Fit! Get Moving! - Fitness
***Promotional video footage and photography will take place throughout the event.
