I am so pleased to share with you our good news. I am deeply grateful and thank each of you for your generous donations to help save dogs' lives.
The success of this, our first matching gift campaign, allows us to pay off all our unusually costly vet care bills incurred by recent rescues. Now, we can resume our important work for abandoned, homeless animals. With every life we save, I will think of you (and so will my angel Scooter and those you have helped us save).
AND not only did you reach our $10,000 goal, you actually surpassed it! And our generous benefactor is matching the extra, over-the-top donations too!

AND, because we are all-volunteer with no paid salaries or perks, every dollar you donated is doubled by our benefactor -- and all will go to benefit the dogs.

Willie & Ollie -- How could anyone
abandon these two blind dogs??
|
a busy and rewarding day. We were able to save the lives of two sweet-as-pie Shih Tzu dogs that someone had abandoned in an Elk Grove dog park.
They are seven-year-old males that we named Willie and Ollie. One is blind and one almost blind -- happily, our vet thinks that their eyesight could possibly be restored with proper care...time will tell.
Because of the campaign's success,
we knew we could commit to Willie and Ollie's rescue and medical needs.
