Planning & Zoning Commission Informative Meeting Nov. 9

Please join Town staff and commissioners for an information session and discussion regarding our Entrada mixed-use development. The work session will be held at 5 p.m. in Westlake Town Hall Council Chambers, Solana (second level at 3 Village Circle).  C hanges in zoning uses are not proposed or planned at this meeting, and will not be discussed. 

The presentation will include background information on the Entrada development, where we are in the process, and the critical items that will be coming before the P&Z and Town Council for approval in the coming months. Also up for discussion are design and construction standards, development regulations, and the proposed PD site plan for the commercial areas at Davis Blvd./ Hwy. 114 and Davis Blvd./ Solana Blvd. Additionally, developers may be present to discuss a potential new development within Westlake!   Please check the P&Z agenda  for more details.

Residents' Fall Clean-Up & Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off: Nov.13-15
Do you have bulk items you don't know how to dispose of such as furniture, appliances (without refrigerant) or construction debris? Bring it all over to the Westlake Academy campus November 13-15 and we'll have dumpsters available to help take care of the disposal.  The drop-off site is located in the southwest parking lot; use south campus entrance to access.  

Hazardous waste such as paint, oil, pesticides, antifreeze, and batteries, can be dropped off on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 to 11 a.m. ONLY while the Fort Worth Household Hazardous Waste Mobile Collection Unit (Crud Cruiser) is on site. The Crud Cruiser also disposes of things such as brake fluid, fluorescent light bulbs, compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs), herbicides, and pharmaceuticals. 

Westlake Proof of Residency is required to drop-off any items. For more info, click here
Mark your calendar for Thursday, Dec. 3! Jump-start  your  holiday season and bring the family to enjoy special guest musical performances with warm beverages, cookie decorating, and pictures with Santa.
Westlake Municipal Offices will be closed for Thanksgiving

So that our elected officials and staff may enjoy the Thanksgiving holidays with their families, Town offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26 & Friday, Nov. 27, 2015.
