Make no mistake about it. African-American men and women are the racial group most affected by HIV. Within this population, gay and bisexual men suffer the greatest risk, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. 


 

On June 26, the CBCF, along with WHUR 96.3 FM Radio, Whitman-Walker's Max Robinson Center, and Community Education Group will host our 7th annual National HIV Testing Day event. The event takes place on June 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Max Robinson Center located at 2301 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. SE in Washington, D.C. Learn about prevention, treatment and testing to help stop the spread of this disease in our community. 

Become an Emerging Leader on Capitol Hill

 

The deadline has been extended to June 22! Apply for the CBCF's fall 2015 Emerging Leaders and Communications Internship program.

 

Program participants receive housing, a stipend, office placements and opportunities to meet and interact with professional politicos and leaders working in all branches of government.
