March 2016
Metro District names new Mansion Manager

Please congratulate Harlan Stritchko on his promotion to Mansion Manager. Strichko is not a new face around the Mansion. He has served as Mansion Events Facility Coordinator since 2012 and has been instrumental in making the Mansion programs successful.

"I'm excited to hit the ground running," said Stritchko. "I plan to continue to establish the Mansion as the premier event venue in the south metro Denver area while continuing to share the story of its historical past."

When not busy working at the Mansion, Stritchko spends time with his five kids, and can often be found fly fishing along one of Colorado's scenic rivers.

Docent spotlight: Fran Jamison

Meet Fran Jamison. She is a volunteer docent at the Highlands Ranch Mansion. Fran began volunteering at the Mansion in September 2015.

"I love the sense of history at the Mansion. The setting is more intimate than other historic sites I've been to and it's nice to be able to spend time sharing the stories of the Mansion with our visitors. I also love that we offer tours as soon as our visitors walk through the door. It just feels more personable and welcoming."

Fran loves to kayak with her daughter and loves to travel. She will be taking a trip to southern England this summer.

We thank Fran for the time she contributes to make the Mansion special.
