Blooming Apricots
All of a sudden, things are growing again out here. Last week we uncovered the winter spinach and picked a couple of bags for sampling at the Chicks Picks wellness fair. The crocuses by the market are open and the daffodils are up. After a couple of days with temperatures in the 70s, the apricots began to bloom. Mark says it's a little early for apricots, but there's no cold air in the forecast for the next couple of weeks, so as long as we don't get an April freeze, we should have apricots in June.

We also planted potatoes and garlic last week, and we replaced the plastic cover on the green house, which had been destroyed in an overnight wind storm. Michele is busy restocking the market for opening day, which is this Saturday, March 19.

Hope to see you all soon!
