WSQX radio | Weekend morning schedule update; Ithaca sign-on!

Coming in June: WSQX will sign on in Ithaca, NY at 92.1 fm... featuring "Daytime News, Nighttime Jazz." Exact date TBA. Watch WSKG.org for details!

Weekend mornings are changing on WSQX starting June 11. The jazz we had broadcast since WSQX's inception was not attracting much audience at all on weekend mornings, and therefore not providing the public service to which we aspire. We're adding some public affairs programming we think listeners will really appreciate, including BBC World Update, now heard at 5am every day of the week... plus radio versions of popular Public TV programs America's Test Kitchen and Rick Steves... and a new program from WNYC: The New Yorker Radio Hour.
