Craig Evans to Present America's First Photographer: The Life of Samuel Bemis, 
June 16th, 6:30 PM, Ham Room, Free! 
Samuel Bemis, 1793-1881
Join us as Henney History Room Project Archivist Craig Evans discusses the life and times of Samuel Bemis, America's first photographer. Evans will discuss the many interesting stories that surround Bemis,  from his first photographs which now reside in  world class museum to the story of the Notchland Inn, which was his home. This program is free. Light refreshments will be served.

Library Will Be Closed June 13th For All Day, All Staff Training. 
We will Reopen June 14th   
The Library will be migrating to a new Integrated Library System (ILS) mid-July. To prepare for this migration library staff will be taking part in an all day staff training June 13th. The library will reopen June 14th. Our new system is known as KOHA and will provide a higher level of service to the public while saving the library money. 
 
Eight Week Spanish Class with Lily Flores Begins June 6th, 5:00 PM. Register Today. 
A native of El Salvador, Lily Flores has been teaching Spanish classes in New Hampshire for 20 years. The class is intended for beginners and will be one hour in length for eight sessions.
