2016 Patriotic Festival
The Patriotic Festival celebrates the military at The Virginia Beach Oceanfront for three days of National Touring Country Artists Concerts, Military Expos and Displays. The concerts will be at 5th Street to 20th Street. All branches of the military: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard will be participating. The Franklin Johnston Group is a proud sponsor of the Patriotic Festival which is known for the largest regional Military Celebration and is the City of Virginia Beach's primary event of the summer season.

United Way Kick Off
The Franklin Johnston Group launched their inaugural United Way Campaign at the corporate office on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. As the company continues to grow, TFJG plans to be increasingly active about giving back. This year's goal is to have 60% participation and Preston Trails Apartments started strong with 100% participation. "The great thing about giving to the United Way is that you can designate your contributions to go to organizations of all kinds, including interests that employees have reported being the most important to them - education, military/veterans, kids and animals. No amount is too small to make a difference." said, Christen Faatz, Director of Corporate Strategy.
Please make sure to turn in your pledge form to your Community Manager by June 15 in order to participate in the United Way Campaign.

Escape Room - IT Team Building
The IT Department had the ultimate experience of the
Virginia Beach Escape Room. "It's all about working as a team. You're tasked to observe your surroundings, search for clues, and solve complex puzzles to find that special item in the room and escape. Together you must observe, solve, and think outside the box".

At Meadowood Apartments in Norfolk, VA they started the Memorial Day weekend off with a flamingo themed pool party. The neighbors enjoyed wonderful food, drinks, games, prizes and fun! They had DJ Rich by the pool and the maintenance team on the grills.
