Deadline for Submissions for the Record.Play Film Festival
Sunday, June 5

We're accepting submissions for the Record.Play Film Festival through Sunday, June 5. This year's theme is "Explore," and is open to all New Jersey residents and students. Age categories include Youth (under 12), Teen (13-18), and Adult (19 and over). For more information and to submit, please visit www.ebpl.org/recordplay.

The Library will screen the entries for the 2016 Record.Play Film Festival. This red carpet awards ceremony celebrates the talent of filmmakers throughout the state. This year's theme is "Explore."

Insectropolis - Bugs on the Go (ages 5+)
Wednesday, July 6 at 10:30 or 11:15 a.m.

Registration is required and will begin on June 20.

Multi-legged visitors from Insectropolis, an insect learning center, will be visiting the library this summer!

This program will include live arthropods, and pinned specimens. Come and learn interesting facts about these special insects.

Aside from a good laugh you'll walk away with useful tips and the exact steps to take to tackle these projects starting today!

Get ready for finals with our Youth Council tutors! Take time to study uninterrupted in our meeting rooms with the help from Youth Council volunteers. Snack breaks and other activities to help you relax and get in the best mindset to study will also be provided.
Teen Action Group
Monday, June 6 at 7 p.m.
This will be the *last meeting* for the Teen Action Group until September.  Anyone interested in joining the group and volunteering over the summer with TAG must attend this meeting.  Watch for changes to this volunteer group coming in the Fall!

This year we're welcoming Sandy Hall (A Little Something Different, Signs Point to Yes), Jennifer Doktorski (The Summer After You And Me), Crissa Chappell (Narc, More Than Good Enough), Lindsay Ribar (The Art of Wishing), and Phoebe North (Starglass) to our 2nd annual summer reading YA author panel!

Join us for our annual summer Teen Writer's Workshop, led by Flora Kim. Take time to work on your epic trilogy, short story, or poetry! The workshop will run for 6 weeks.

David Darwin - One Man Sideshow (all ages)
Wednesday, June 22 at 11 a.m.
David presents a fun show of juggling, comedy and some amazing feats. He even sings with both legs behind his head in an act that earned him a semi-finalist spot on "America's Got Talent." Fun for the whole family with lots of audience participation.

Free tickets distributed 30 minutes before the program begins.

Registration for these programs will begin on Monday, June 13 by calling Youth Services at 732-390-6789.

The Carnival of Animals (ages 3-5)

Monday, June 27 at 2 p.m.

Children are invited to listen to music, move like animals, and play musical instruments while learning about The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saens.  This 45-minute program begins at 2:00 and is for children accompanied by an adult.

Get in the Game with Marching Band

Monday, June 27 at 4 p.m.

Children are invited to attend Get in the Game with Marching Band, an interactive program featuring the instruments in the marching band.  Participants will be able to try playing - and marching with - the instruments!  This program runs from 4:00 to 4:45.

The Library offers computer training classes for those who want to learn the newest versions of software or want to gain basic computer skills.

All introductory classes are free, upper-level courses are $10 for EBPL cardholders, or $15 for non-cardholders.

You must register for a course to participate. Below is a list of the upcoming classes. We hope to see you there.
