Europeans are excited about BBQ just as much as us American's. German's love their "Grillen" with Bratwursts and just about anything pork related. In the Mediterranean all proteins see EVOO and citrus and usually pita as its transporter to your mouth, while the Brits follow us and enjoy the classics. Seems like the French just bring the inside flair outside with fragrant pyramids of sausages, pale pink chipolatas speckled with flecks of herbs or deep-red spicy merguez; elegant rows of brochettes served alongside homemade quiche with local, seasonal vegetables. Served alfresco the Italians are most well know for the famous Bistecca alla Fiorentina which is never omitted from a Northern Italian BBQ.
