Springboro ranks in the Top 20 in the state again, the Concert in the Park series is almost here and now you have access to 24/7 shredding!

SPRINGBORO 17th SAFEST CITY IN OHIO

Springboro has been named the 17th safest City in Ohio according to Safewise, and industry leader in home security and safety advice.

To identify the safest cities in Ohio, Safewise reviewed the most recent FBI Crime Report statistics from 2014, along with population data. They eliminated all cities with fewer than 8,000 residents as well as any cities that failed to submit a complete crime report to the FBI.  This ranking is a direct reflection on our Police Department, citizens that are always on the look out for suspicious activity and a business community that is diligent in reporting crime, no matter how minor.  It takes an entire community working together to stay safe!
24/7 Shredding

No more wait for Shred It Day!  Based on the overwhelming response we had to our two recent Shred-It days, the City is happy to announce that we now have a shredder in the main foyer of the City Building that is accessible to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Feel the need to shred papers at 10:00 at night? Want to get rid of those old tax documents on Christmas Day?   Go for it.

The shredder can handle up to 34 regular-sized papers at a time and can even take paper clips and staples.  It can even shred CDs and DVDs!

The shredder is free to use, so shred away!
