Are you a young Christian leader aspiring to make an impact in the world or do you know one (ages 18 - 30)?
KCCD is pleased to offer ten scholarships to young Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) emerging leaders for the 9th National Lighting the Community Summit from June 6th to 8th at Gallaudet University in
Washington D.C.
This is a great opportunity for diverse young AAPI Christians leaders who want to make a difference in the world through faith and community partnerships and being a leader in the intersection of church and community.
Nominations can be made on behalf of someone or can be self-nominations.
KCCD will provide
10 registration scholarships. There is some limited
airfare and lodging assistance. Acceptance will be on a rolling basis.
DEADLINE
is May 31, 2016.
We are seeking emerging young leaders with the following qualifications and conditions:
1. Sensing a call to leadership in the church that makes a difference in the community and society.
2. Being able to attend the summit in Washington D.C. from June 6-8, 2016.
3. Willing to do the learning reports and volunteer assignments during the summit and afterwards including social media contacts.
