Scout-O-Rama is Next Saturday: Be sure to participate in the largest Scout expo June 4, 2016 at Heartwell Park. Food trucks, Aquarium touch tank, games, activities, cultural performaces, and tons more fun. Open to the public, no cost, fun for all ages.

Our National Jamboree Troop is looking for one good young adult 18-21 years of age, to be our 3rd Assistant Scoutmaster. Tour the East Coast and attend the 2017 Jamboree. Click for requirements. Please direct any questions or interest to Dave Damp 562-429-3177

New program calendars for June 2016 through December 2017 will be available Saturday, June 4 at Scout-O-Rama. Get the scoop on upcoming events for the next 18 months!     

October 14-15 - Practice and show off your frontiersman skills! Muzzle loading, tomahawks, fire-starting, cannon ball toss, caber toss, colter run. Suggested for Scouts ages 14+, Varsity, and Venture Scouts. Flyer here.    

June 18 - With summer fast approaching, this course teaches proper aquatics supervision and water rescue techniques. See info here. Could be a lifesaver! Open to any adult leader or youth age 15+.

August 19-20-21 - Save the date! All current 3rd and 4th graders are invited to Webelos Weekend 2016... the most popular event for Webelos all year. Sells out every year! Join us for all new activities at Camp Tahquitz.     

June 17-19 & 24-26 - Long Beach is hosting the National Youth Leadership Training for youth (co-ed) ages 13+. NYLT prepares young leaders to better serve in leadership positions beyond Scouting. Flyer here. A phenomenal learning opportunity.   

Summer 2016 - Thinking about your summer plans already? CSI: Cub Scout Investigators will be in town for three weeks. Explore adventures, learn cool things, play games, have fun with friends. Check out Cub Scout Day Camp here. For boys ages 6-10.
