"With Strings Attached" Masterworks Concert
|
Guest artist and 2015 Artist-in-Residence, Dominic Johnson
|
Join the RSO as we kick off our 2015-16 Masterworks Concert series on Saturday, October 10! "With Strings Attached" will begin at 7:30 pm at the Racine Theatre Guild, 2519 Northwestern Ave.
Concert highlights include a duet performance of Bach's
Double Violin Concerto by Maestro Pasquale Laurino and Concertmaster Alexander Mandl. Another treat for this concert is the wonderful voice of John Komasa, singing a collection of Polish songs composed by Frederic Chopin.
Violist Dominic Johnson, our 2015-16 Artist-in-Residence, rounds out the repertoire with Hindemith's
Trauermusik alongside the Orchestra. Dominic will also lead the Pre-Concert Conversation beginning at 6:30 pm in the theatre.
General admission tickets are $23 in advance and $25 at the door. As always, students 20 and under receive free general admission. Visit the
concert website or call the RSO office at 262-636-9285 to purchase tickets or for more information.
