Planning for the West Coast Aerial Arts Festival (WCAAF) is underway. In just its 3rd year, this festival is hitting its stride with interest and participation growing threefold. Funded primarily by Aerial Arts America (AAA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, WCAAF promotes this exciting and innovative new hybrid, celebrates the performers who are evolving and mainstreaming it, and provides a unique platform for companies and brands with compatible, values, attributes and audiences. About the Event: WCAAF brings together students, schools, and other teaching and performing institutions in one space. It is the premier venue for amateur aerial arts/dance in the world, featuring an international field of aerial artists and performers, along with instructional workshops from highly regarded guest artists.

The Opportunity: Promoting A Spellbinding New Hybrid of Sports and Performance Art. Interest in the aerial arts has reached critical mass. Now frequently featured in nationally televised talent shows and global music videos, aerial arts strike a perfect balance between athleticism and performance artistry, appealing strongly to millennials and fitness enthusiasts.

Founded in 2012, Aerial Arts American Institute (dba Aerial Arts America or AAA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization operating in Orange County, California to provide platforms that elevate aerial arts teaching and performing arts, through projects, events, fundraisers and membership participation. Its mission is to develop the quality and standard of aerial arts teaching & performance profession in the world through the the following:  standardization of syllabus & curriculum; accreditation & proper monitoring;  continuous research & development; trainings, competitions and other developmental endeavors that will ultimately increase the number of elite professionals in the community.
