Economic Development Committee Recap

Lucy Thompson, Principal City Planner, City of Saint Paul informed the committee of the proposed River Balcony project. The balcony would be a 1.5 mile pedestrian path, connecting key downtown development sites between the Science Museum of Minnesota to the Union Depot. Leadership Summit Recap
Last week, Augsburg hosted the second annual Leadership Summit. Special
thanks to Augsburg for their partnership! 

Attendees were able to participate in either the Intercultural Conflict Styles (ICS) Inventory Workshop or the Individual Analysis Report (I Opt). At lunch, Jodi Harpstead, CEO, Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, reflected on leadership and the nonprofit landscape of Minnesota. 




The Hiway Federal Credit Union Nonprofit of the Month was awarded to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. Habitat is entering into its busy build season, and it partnering with Chamber members, including Sunrise Banks and Thrivent Financial, on builds throughout the Twin Cities. Andy Dean, Hiway Federal Credit Union, presented the award to Sue Haigh, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.

Soccer Stadium gets two out of three requests at Capitol
Minnesota United FC was one group anxiously awaiting the end to the Legislative session.
