Judy Halper, JFCS CEO

Time sure does fly when you're having fun! It seems like only yesterday JFCS was establishing the WIGS (Wildly Important Goals) that would comprise our three-year strategic plan. With only about seven months remaining on this current plan, we are already thinking about the next plan.
With that in mind, I thought I'd report on the amazing progress made over the past 2-½ years.

Introducing the Emerging Leader Award: Congratulations Haylee Davis!
|
JFCS' NextGen program provides opportunities for young adults to build connections to JFCS and its mission. NextGen is laying the foundation for the strong future of JFCS and our community. Thirteen young leaders that make up the NextGen Board will be honored at this year's 106th Annual meeting on June 14.
JFCS will further honor its young leadership that evening with the presentation of its first ever Emerging Leader Award - we are thrilled to announce that the inaugural Emerging Leader Award will be presented to Haylee Davis!

Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match...
|
Jewish Family and Children's Service of Minn
eapolis makes matches every single day. We m
atch volunteers to opportunities that build well-being throughout our community, we match people with our programs and services essential to help them reach their full potential, we match donors to the eff
ecti
ve projects and programs they are passionate about.
Now YOU can be the matchmaker!
Companies across the Twin Cities allow employees to make charitable donations or participate as volunteers with a qualified non-profit and are eligible for a match.
It's EASY! All you need to do is find out if your place of employment has a matching gift or volunteer policy, fill out any necessary paperwork and send it to us - we will complete the rest! AND,
some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
The impact of your gift or volunteer hours to JFCS may be doubled or possibly tripled!
Please help us continue to make and sustain the perfect MATCH.
For more information or to make a gift, please contact Dana Rubin, Development Director, at 952-542-4803 or [email protected].

With gratitude: NextGen Volunteers
|
On May 11, NextGen volunteers assembled 200 bags of food to be distributed in emergency situations by PRISM and JFCS case managers. Each bag contained canned soup, vegetables, fruit, and other nutritious food to support families in times of unexpected need.
