The guest speaker shared with them that God put them here for a purpose. He encouraged all of them to pray to God everyday and to ask Him to show them their purpose so they could begin their own adventure and stay on the path God has designed for them.

Message from
Myka Peck,  Principal

Dear Parents -

This year we are trying something new.  Instead of "Casual Night Gala", tomorrow night is our first ever "Night at the Races".  Our chairs, Garces parents Suzanne Rogers and Jenny Waguespack, have put together what promises to be a fun night to remember.  If you purchased tickets or a horse - thank you for supporting the event.  I hope to see all of you tomorrow night.

Last week, our we had our E3 accreditation team on our campus.  I could not be prouder of how our students, staff, and our faculty conducted themselves during the visit.  The E3 Team was impressed with how well our students conducted themselves during Mass and how much school pride they exhibit.  The accreditation team verified the areas we are doing well and provided positive feedback on areas we have identified as needing improvement.  The areas we will be working on are: advancing the curriculum to meet the needs of our students; continuing iPad training for our faculty and improving the use of iPads in the classrooms; involving more stakeholders in advancing our school; enhancing our Catholic identity by aligning with the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools (NSBECS); and developing a three year, five year, and ten year strategic plan for the growth and direction of our school.

The office will be closed during Spring break.  If you have questions about summer school, please email Steve Garcia at [email protected].  If you need anything else over Spring break, please email me at [email protected].

May there always be a Garces.
