Dear Parents,

As we gear up for another incredible summer at Camp Kef and Camp Ma'alot, we would like to share some important news:

After two years leading Camp Kef and Camp Ma'alot, Yael Davidovics is stepping down as camp director. Yael was a tremendous asset to our camp, starting our new swimming program at the New Milford Swim Club, bringing in engaging new programs, and spearheading the growth of our Camp Ma'alot division for older campers. She will be missed and we wish her well in all her future endeavors.

At the same time, we are thrilled to announce that Lori Chasan is taking over as camp director. Lori is a veteran BPY kindergarten teacher who is beloved by her students and parents alike. She brings with her decades of camp experience, including many  years at Camp Regesh and Shalom Day Camp, as well as tremendous energy, creativity, warmth, and excitement.

Prior to joining BPY as an early childhood teacher six years ago, Lori was a pre-k and kindergarten teacher at Moriah for nearly a decade. She has degrees in psychology and elementary school and early childhood education from Rutgers. Lori lives in Bergenfield with her husband and has three grown children. 

Lori is tremendously excited to be joining Camp Kef and Camp Ma'alot. She looks forward to meeting all of you and to ensuring that your children have a fabulous summer!
