Dr. Benjamin

Congratulations to Benjamin for becoming the first of our sponsored children to become a medical doctor. We are so proud of him.   When he was just 14 Benjamin was kicked out of his Muslim home after he chose to follow Jesus. Katherine took him into the orphanage and he excelled in his high school studies, receiving a full scholarship to medical school.

Before beginning university, with the help of Mission Hills Church and along with another sponsored youth, Benjamin attended a year of Bible School in Malawi. While in medical school Benjamin has been the president of the East African Christian Medical Association and traveled to a conference in Nederland.   It was my privilege to witness his graduation ceremony along with Katherine and
Pastor Charles.   He is now completing his residency in a Kampala hospital.   He also helps with our periodic    medical camps we have at our clinic.

Benjamin loves the Lord and has become a Christian leader in his country as have many of our sponsorship graduates.   We are so proud of them all and we are so thankful for all of you who make this possible.

Please keep our sponsored boy, Moses, in your prayers as he has been fighting an ongoing infection in his leg for nearly 2 years. He had a 3rd  surgery to remove more bone last week and continues to
struggle to heal. Please pray for complete healing and mobility.
