March 10, 2016

While there are still two months left, we are already making plans for the 2016-2017 school year. Students turned in 2016-2017 course selection forms earlier this week, and renovations will start next month in the school auditorium with the reopening in the fall.

The 2016-2017 registration fee deadline is also approaching. The $200 fee is due Tuesday, Mar. 15. After this date, the registration fee will increase to $350. This fee (as well as other school fees) can be paid through NetClassroom. Only the parent who receives statements from the Business Office will have access to the billing tab.  If you do not see the billing tab at the top of your parent log in screen, please try another parent log in to make the online payment.

Parents also have the option to pay the registration fee at the business office, open until 4:30 p.m. each school day. Please let me know if you have any questions about this process.

Class of 2017 - C.O.P.E. and University Visits
Tuesday, Mar. 15
Juniors will be participating in C.O.P.E. (Cost of Poverty Experience) and visits to either the University of Dayton or Wright State University on Tuesday, Mar. 15. C.O.P.E. is a  two hour role-playing event, sponsored by Think Tank and Care Source, that simulates the real-life experiences of low income families in Montgomery County. During the university visit, students will be provided a list of questions to ask. While your child may not be thinking of either UD or WSU as their final choice, this is an excellent opportunity to get them onto a college campus.
