KMA, KFMC Commit to Quit Campaign Continues
to Grow, Reach Smokers Who Want to Quit

Physicians know patients are much healthier when they quit smoking. Smokers know that too. The Commit to Quit campaign, sponsored by the Kentucky Foundation for Medical Care and KMA with other partners, is aimed at ensuring smokers know the benefits of working with their physicians to kick the habit.

The Commit to Quit campaign has gained support throughout the Commonwealth, with several local medical societies, physicians and other health care stakeholders signing on. Partners include Greater Louisville Medical Society, Lexington Medical Society, Madison County Medical Society, Northern Kentucky Medical Society and the Warren County Medical Society, as well as KentuckyOne Health, with outreach touching more than 100,000 Kentuckians through publications in those areas, and many more through social media and the Commit to Quit website.
