Welcome Bailey Swann Hodgson
On Wednesday, February 24th at 5:03 our daughter was born. She weighed 7 lb 6 ozs. Lanier and I named her Bailey in honor of a dear family that we have come to know and love through FCA.

The first time Bob Bailey met Lanier, he said, "We've been praying for you." The Baileys and their entire family has meant so much to Lanier and me that we decided on the name before we were even pregnant.

The first two weeks of Bailey's life have been quite a roller coaster both for her, as well has Lanier and me.

After a return visit to the hospital three hours after being discharged, Bailey had some blood drawn to run down some tests on her. Last Wednesday (March 2) Lanier and I sat in a doctors office where we learned that based on blood work that came back, a genetic metabolic specialist believed that Bailey has a rare metabolic disease called LCHAD.

If you want to read more about Bailey's story please visit the following link where I wrote about her diagnosis and how to pray for Bailey as well as for Lanier and me.

FCA College Retreat
February 5-7 I had the honor to serve as the director of FCA's College Retreat held at Camp Thunderbird outside of Charlotte, NC.

For the 2nd consecutive year FCA partnered with Athletes in Action (AIA) to put on a retreat for 250 student athletes from 26 different colleges across North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

The weekend was incredible which was a testament to all of the FCA and AIA staff who worked so hard getting students there and to create an environment for God to minister in.

10 Years on FCA Staff
Tuesday, March 1 marked my 10 year anniversary of being on staff with FCA. This picture is of me warming up our goalies when we were playing Hobart the weekend I found out I was offered and accepted the Men's Director position with FCA Lacrosse.

I can't believe that 10 years have passed already. Over the past decade I have met so many incredible people and families that have had such an impact on my life.

I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for investing in me over the past 10 years and helping me become the man I am today. I look forward to what the next 10 years will bring.
