Ah, autumn. The season's change is upon us in the Raystown Lake Region of Pennsylvania. There is an hint of color in the maple leaves that gives promise to the glorious display that is soon to adorn our mountainsides. Fall festivals are in abundance in the list below. It is surely the time of the year to get outside and enjoy the hiking trails, fall foliage tour boat cruises, football at Juniata College and fishing for stripers in our fresh waters of Raystown Lake. And it is a fine time of the year for a mountain bike ride on the Allegrippis Trails at Raystown Lake!

Look at all that is going on! 18th Century Marketfaire and Rifle Frolic is at Fort Roberdeau October 9-11. Lincoln Caverns Ghosts and Goblins haunted cave tours run Fridays and Saturdays October 9-31. Hartslog Day (October 10) in Alexandria, PA is a community festival and craft fair with food booths, kids activities, entertainment and more -- put it on your agenda. Rockhill Trolley Museum has their great fall spectacular rides and display on this weekend October 10-11. You can learn more about the industrial heritage of Huntingdon County at the Broad Top Area Coal Miners Heritage Days on Saturday and Sunday, October 10-11.

If you are looking for any details on what to do or where to stay in the fall in the Raystown Lake Region -- just call the Huntingdon County Visitors Bureau office at (888) 729-7869.

The Raystown Lake Region Visitor Center hours through October 31, 2015: Monday 8am-2pm, Tuesday through Friday 8am-4pm, Saturday 10am-4pm, and Sunday 10am-2pm. Remember that we are here all year long!

We would love to have you share your #FallInPA photos from #Raystown Lake with us on our Facebook page: Facebook.com/RaystownLake
