Join us for the Chandler Track & Field Meet!
Chandler Track and Field

Get running with the Chandler Track & Field Meet! Join us on Saturday, April 16 for Chandler's annual Track & Field Meet at Chandler High School. The meet features sprints, relays, the standing long jump, and the softball throw for youths in various age categories. Registration is required and forms are available online at www.chandleraz.gov/youth-sports. Please note the registration deadline is rolling and based on availability.

Therapeutics Decades Dance
Cut a rug at the City of Chandler's free Decades Dance sponsored by Recreation and Athletics for Individuals with Disabilities. Join us Friday, April 15 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Chandler Community Center as with dance throughout the decades paying tribute to those 50s, 70s and 90s superstars. Don't forget to come dressed as your favorite era: poodle skirts, hippie attire, bell bottoms and neon 80s colors are all welcome. Reserve your spot on the dance floor - click here

Play Dough Playtime!
Mold, smash, and create brightly colored masterpieces all made from play-doh at Play Dough Playtime.  Classes run on Mondays, April 4-25 at the Tumbleweed Recreation Center. Robots at EEC

Does your child love learning how things work? Get your Roboteer involved in the all things Robots class Saturdays this month at the Environmental Education Center. From designing and building, to programming and creating, there are no limits to the fun and learning kids will find during this spring session of Robots. Chandler Leaders in Training Program
Summer is just around the corner and the City of Chandler is encouraging young adults to spend summer break wisely, by turning downtime into leadership opportunities. Teens between the ages of 14 and 17 can gain valuable work experience through the City's Leaders In Training program. Over the course of six weeks, young adults participant in a series of leadership development workshops, and are guided by an esteemed mentor and shown tools for success in both the private and civic sectors. Meteor Crater Tour
Discover the wonders of the best preserved meteorite impact site on the planet. Join us Saturday, April 9 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Meteor Crater Tour in Northern Arizona. This all day excursion includes transportation to and from Meteor Crater, guided tour and movie. Open to youths ages 8-17. Pickleball Now at the TRC
Pickleball anyone? It's the latest sports fad in the country, and it's arrived at the  Tumbleweed Recreation Center on  Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 2 p.m. Grab your paddles and join us for a friendly game.
