The meet features sprints, relays, the standing long jump, and the softball throw for youths in various age categories. Summer is just around the corner and the City of Chandler is encouraging young adults to spend summer break wisely, by turning downtime into leadership opportunities. Teens between the ages of 14 and 17 can gain valuable work experience through the City's Leaders In Training program. Over the course of six weeks, young adults participant in a series of leadership development workshops, and are guided by an esteemed mentor and shown tools for success in both the private and civic sectors.
